Futures Challenge in the Kadewe (Berlin)

On the occasion of the World Retail Congress in Berlin from September 25 until September 28, 2001, the Futures Challenge takes place in the Kadewe: Design students from all over the world present their creative shop and marketinig concepts for a brand from their own country which is not yet part of the Kadewe product range. On the reception eve on Monday 26, the congress participants will judge the ideads. Each Kadewe customer has the chance as well to vote for it's personal favourite!

A brand is known by detail

This is the third of our "10 Commandments of Shop Marketing" and this is also what the students intend to show with their concepts. On 6 square meters and in white boxes which we have built for them, the students from New York, London, Milan, Mumbai, Tokyo and Hongkong present the marketing strategies for dolls, china, nail art etc.

Other brands are known by detail if you have look at our "live" shop fitting references in the Kadewe. On the first floor, the men shops from Marc O'Polo, Polo Ralph Lauren, Strellson Sportswear and Windsor are made by us. The following women shops on second floor have been installed by us: Marc O'Polo, Polo Ralph Lauren, Windsor, Joop! and Cambio. And on third floor we have worked for the very little ones, Marc O'Polo junior.

And the winner is...

The jury and the Kadewe visitors have decided: The winner of this year's Futures Challange is the Hongkong team with their concept for "Blanc de Chine" - the first Chinese luxury brand which combines both the tradition of Chinese culuture with modern life style. Congratulations!
